About

Marketing first.
Then the tools the work calls for.

Twenty-six years across marketing, product, brand, education, video, and content — mostly in fitness, wellness, and consumer products.

I’ve led the work from inside companies and built it from the outside.

The short version

From the gym floor to the VP chair, with a camera most of the way.

I started as a trainer and fitness manager, then spent years teaching trainers across the country and building curriculum at 24 Hour Fitness.

I was on the day-one team for bodybugg, one of the first consumer wearables, and later ran category strategy for fitness wearables at Scosche in the years before everyone had one on their wrist.

Since then, I’ve built certification programs that have trained more than 30,000 fitness professionals, run operations for a multi-location boutique studio, and produced video, websites, podcasts, books, and marketing campaigns.

Today I’m VP of Marketing and Communications at dotFIT and take on select outside projects.

That mix is why I’m most comfortable when the assignment doesn’t fit neatly into one box.

How the work gets done

Hands-on when it should be. Scaled when it needs to be.

I stay close to the work — strategy, messaging, websites, video, and curriculum — rather than passing each piece through layers of people.

When a project needs more, I bring in trusted production and creative partners around it.

The team scales to the job, while the thinking stays connected from start to finish.
